Where to Begin

Thanks for stopping by my blog. This will be a place for me to share stories and unravel my brain.

Here is what you can expect WHEN you hear from me. (This is also shared on my “About” page.)

I won’t be sugar coating.

I won’t always have a point or a message to share with you, and that KILLS me more than anything.

I will be all over the board. It’s the beauty of my mind, really.  Imagine a pinball machine.  Ideas and thoughts bounce around and don’t seem to ever stop.  Shut down, wind down, whatever you want to call it, it doesn’t happen here.  That is probably when my most entertaining pieces will be written.

This space is a place for me to process.  You were just fortunate enough to have stumbled upon it. You can thank me later for the peace it should give you about your own life.  Writing is like untying a knot to me.  It tends to allow me to get out the thoughts that I have to filter all day.  The only problem is that they are out, in print, and that’s kind of scary.

This is just a snapshot of areas of my life, so be aware that you don’t have the whole picture. If you want that privilege you will have to get to know me and be my friend.  I assure you it’s not worth the effort.

Lastly, and most importantly, I love the Lord with all my heart. Read it again, because you will question that.  I love Him with all of MY heart.  It’s not your heart, it’s mine.  I pray He uses my words for good, and you find hope when you come here.

  1. Amber,
I enjoyed reading your message so much. You have a gift for sharing, teaching and encouraging others. One of the things I miss most about your P31 class are the devotions. I’m super excited that you’re doing this and I will be a regular visitor. By the way, have you ever thought about holding a women’s bible study?

    1. Lisa, Thank you so much for your encouragement and heartfelt words. I have led some Bible studies in the past and am currently working to write a study on the lessons God has taught me through life and leadership. You have just affirmed so many things. Thank you!
